The St. Thomas the Apostle Books and Gift Shop is a non-profit business staffed by volunteers and paid staff.
The inventory consists of books, bibles, spiritual music, jewelry, rosaries and gifts. all products are for the purpose of enriching one' spiritual life. Ina a library type environment, guests are encouraged to relax, read and become spiritually refreshed. All proceeds are returned to St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.
The Lenten season of 2010 begins Ash Wednesday, February 17th. Suggested books and pamphlets, including “The Magnificat Lenten Companion, are just inside the Gift Shop door. This material will help to develop a more fervent practice of the Catholic faith.
Books are displayed on shelves specifically labeled toward important topics including: Father Ehrich recommends, Father Nave recommends, Year of the Priests, Institute of Catholic Theology, Philosophy and theology, Catholic Literature, Benedictines and other topics.
All proceeds are returned to St. Thomas the Apostle.
